Who were you created to be?

You are God’s reflection. His masterpiece that He carefully constructed. A potter spends hours molding his clay. Each move is with intention and purpose. Once the potter is done, he is proud of his work. He stamps it with his name and wants everyone to know the care that he put into every step of the process. The pot can’t declare its own value, only the potter can. And, when you downgrade the piece of art, you are downgrading the artist.

That is what God sees when He looks at you. A work of art. The same God that breathed the stars into existence and put water in the oceans created you. Your value didn’t come from working hard, but from the name that was stamped on you. You are marked by Majesty.

You are created in the image of God.
